Autumn's Background

Autumn Nelson, a South Dakota native raised in Lake City, moved to Sioux Falls in 2008 and later graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Forensics from Colorado Technical University. Since beginning her career in the private law firm setting in 2010, Autumn has earned numerous credentials, including NALA’s Certified Paralegal and Advanced Certified Paralegal in Trial Practice.

Autumn supports the litigation team at Halbach|Szwarc Law Firm in civil litigation, employment law, and family law. Her commitment to her profession is demonstrated through her active involvement in the South Dakota Paralegal Association, where she has served in various leadership roles, including Past-President. Outside of work, Autumn enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.
